Dr. David Roh
Dear friends,
It is my great honor to introduce you to the PUST School of Medicine.
We have been invited by DPRK to start a medical school in North Korea using Kim Manyu Hospital in Pyongyang as the teaching hospital for the school.
Our medical school curriculum will be taught in English and will focus on training recent graduates of the Pyongyang medical school in the basic areas of Medicine, Surgery and OBGYN. Pediatrics will follow in the near future.
With the projected launch of the school in 2016, we are recruiting like-minded physicians and residents from all specialties, who have interests in medical education and a heart for the DPRK. Our hope is that our school will impact the overall direction and quality of healthcare in order to address the needs of the DPRK people. Updated medical education, quality and compassionate hands-on training, innovative research, and collaborative intellectual exchange are the means by which we will develop our programs.
Please take a look at our website. Let us know if you would be interested in working with us to train our NK students to become the best physicians in the DPRK.
Sincerely,
Dr. David Roh
Founding Dean of the PUST School of Medicine
